Abu Dhabi’s coastline offers very different experiences, and choosing the right boat is an important step towards a great day at sea. Our birthday fleet includes motor yachts, a catamaran and houseboats – here is how the boat types compare.

Motor yachts: style and a sleek profile

If you love the classic yacht look – sun pads at the bow, a flybridge lounge, a salon below – a motor yacht is for you. Our motor yachts range from Cupcake (up to 8 guests, from AED 550 per hour) to Serenade (up to 30 guests) and Grand Finale (up to 12 guests). See them in the gallery.

Houseboats: space and stability

If space matters more than speed, a houseboat is the natural choice. Houseboats feel like a living room on the water: long indoor lounges, open upper decks and room for a balloon arch or a cake table. Milestone House 66 and Milestone House 82 take up to 35 guests each; Velvet House suits smaller groups of up to 12. Compare them on the yachts & packages page.

Which one is right for you?

• Choose a yacht if you want the classic yacht look, sun pads and a flybridge, for a small or medium group.
• Choose a houseboat if you have a long guest list or want everyone together in one big lounge for the cake and the speeches.
